According to Wikipedia, Blue Hour is as follows: ‘The blue hour is the period of twilight each morning and evening where there is neither full daylight nor complete darkness. The time is considered special because of the quality of the light.’ – Wikipedia.
Not only is it considered special because of the quality of light, but the time you have to shoot is also limited…
A definite step out of my comfort zone this week…and an almost missed opportunity…thank you to some encouragement from the wonderful ladies of the Blog, I decided to post anyway….
A lot of time and research went into ‘Blue Hour’…and how to achieve this shot…taking time to consider the hour I needed to be outside, the composition to create leading lines and triangles ,as well as, using different depths of blue/violet to lead you to the cars journey down the highway…I am thankful for the push from everyone to step out of my comfort zone and take the necessary risks to once again further my photographic journey.
Here is my interpretation of Blue Hour…………..
