“Our job is to record, each in his own way, this world of light and shadow and time that will never come again exactly as it is today.” – Edward Abbey
Today’s post is for a long-term collaborative photo project I am participating in with several other talented photographers whom I have come to know and admire over the past year. This project concentrates on light and learning to master its many dynamic forms. We spend several weeks at at time exploring a common overarching theme so we can really dig in deep, have fun, and take creative risks. Here is my latest take on this week’s theme, shadows & light.
With the kids back in school, I find the bulk of our family time spent at the ‘Dining Room Table’. Breakfast, snack time, lunch, dinner & homework have left me sitting starring out the window trying to figure out where I’m going to find the time to work on this weeks project….not realizing it was in from of me the whole time…so I swept the crumbs out of the way & managed to capture this image….
Next up in our creative blog circle is Julie Kiernan. Please take a moment to check out Julie’s play on shadows and light.
