Project52/Week3: Playing with Light & Shadows

“Most of the shadows of this life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine.” Ralph Waldo Emerson.

I finally convinced “N” to let me take pictures of him!  As long as he was able to do what he loves to do.  We hit the park with scooter and camera in hand—“N” actually enjoyed participating and adding his own input on how to create shadow images.  He enjoyed manipulating his body and using his imagination to help create shadows that he thought would look (as he put it) AWESOME!

Today’s post is for a long-term collaborative photo project I am participating in with several other talented photographers whom I have come to know and admire over the past year. This project concentrates on light and learning to master its many dynamic forms. We spend several weeks at at time exploring a common overarching theme so we can really dig in deep, have fun, and take creative risks. Here is my latest take on this week’s theme, light & shadows.

Next up in our creative blog circle is Kami Chaudhery. Please take a moment to check out Kami’s amazing play on light and shadows.  Kami also had a daily picture roll of her everyday adventures–It’s a must see!!
